&nbsp;   <-------------- what is up with this &nbsp crap at the beginning of my entries... it is not making me happy at all! 

oh i forgot to mention how amazing The Color Purple was. WOW. Kenita Miller is a goddess. I am not even over exaggerating. in fact, i am under exaggerating, because no words can describe how dynamic her voice is. it shook me to my core.

I also went to see Joshua Radin in concert this past week. it is phenomenal to me that he just started performing less than five years ago. he has the smoothest, most gentle voice, i would have assumed that he had been singing since child birth. he was born to sing and perform. he is so charming and natural on stage. sigh, what a cutie.

&nbsp;alright, i'm having a hard time finding friends (weeps*)  and figuring out how to work livejournal. i actually think i need someone to give me a tutorial! all i want to do is blog and make my home look nice and presentable! is that so much to ask?! :( i'm such a baby. 

&nbsp;wow, so, i am really getting into many things on the internet. facebook, xanga, youtube, twitter, gossip sites, watching tv shows online, yikes... i am becoming addicted to all that the world wide web has to offer. meh, it is the new age of information i guess. lately i have just become a lot more interested in popular culture. i always have tried to avoid it but i definitely think it is important to pay attention to this kind of stuff being in the field that i am. observing life, staying current to what our culture is all about. not just giving attention to things that are only insightful, artistic, meaningful, educational. although i still value those things just as much!

i'm learning to appreciate everything. wow. i can't get over how amazing a new brain is. you gotta have heart and music.
